NEST's Official Online Presence
The Nepali Society of Thunder Bay (NEST) maintains the following official online platforms:

These are the only platforms officially maintained, moderated, and updated by the NEST board and its authorized volunteers.
Website vs. Social Media
tbaynepali.ca is NEST's stable community resource portal. It contains official information about NEST, community resources, forms, membership, volunteering, and organizational policies. It is updated less frequently than our social media channels, it is designed to be a reliable reference point, not a daily feed.
Instagram (@tbaynepali) and Facebook are where NEST shares current event announcements, reminders, photos, updates, and community notices. For the most up-to-date information, please follow us on both platforms.
Unofficial Groups and Pages
NEST recognizes that unofficial community groups, WhatsApp chats, Facebook groups, and social media pages exist within the Nepali community in Thunder Bay. These may be useful for community connection.
However, any group, chat, account, or page that is not explicitly listed on tbaynepali.ca is not officially maintained or managed by NEST. NEST cannot be held responsible for content, claims, information, decisions, or actions that originate from unofficial channels.
Platforms NEST Does Not Currently Maintain
NEST does not currently maintain official:
- WhatsApp groups (under NEST's official name)
- TikTok accounts
- X (formerly Twitter) accounts
- YouTube channels
- Any other social media platforms not listed above
This may change in the future. Any new official platforms will be announced on tbaynepali.ca and through existing official channels.
