Our History

How NEST came to be. This page is still under construction.

Details are being verified

The history of NEST is being checked carefully with the people who were there. It will be published here once it is confirmed.

How NEST came into being

Some details are being verified, so this is a placeholder for now. We would rather wait and get it right than publish something that is not yet confirmed.

What we can say today: NEST was established in 2020 by a small group of Nepali community members in Thunder Bay who understood what it means to leave home and start fresh in a new city.

The story is on its way

NEST was established in 2020 by a small group of Nepali community members in Thunder Bay who understood what it means to leave home and start fresh in a new city. The full story of how NEST came to be, and the people who built it, is still being put together.

We want to get it right, so we are gathering it carefully from the people who were there. It will appear on this page when it is ready.

Please share them through the Contact page, and tell us if you are happy for them to appear on the site. We will only publish what people are comfortable having shared.
